Ingredients: Black Tea, Lakadong Haldi (Turmeric), Cardamom, Pepper, Cinnamon, Clove, Cumin, Ashwagandha, Carom Seeds (Ajwain) and Aniseed
How to Brew: Boil the water. Switch off the flame. Take a teaspoon of the tea leaves in a cup. Pour the hot water on the tea leaves. Let it brew for 2 minutes. Strain it. The tea leaves can be rebrewed to make another cup of tea. Allow additional 30 seconds of brewing for every reuse. Add milk and/or jaggery can also be added.
Lakadong Haldi (Turmeric) is a variety of turmeric grown in the North-Eastern state of Meghalaya. This turmeric is found to have the highest percentage of curcumin. The impressive anti-inflammatory and healing health benefits of turmeric are due to the presence of a naturally occurring chemical compound found in turmeric called curcumin. Therefore, Lakadong Haldi offers better health benefits as compared to regular turmeric.
