Kotpad Handwoven from the looms of tribal Odisha by the tribal Mirgan community.it acquired Geographical Indication(GI)tag for the natural dyeing process involved in kotpad. The dyeing is primarily done by the womenfolk. Dyeing of the fabric involves using aal powder(made from the bark of the Indian Madder tree), castor oil, cow dung, and ash powder. The entire dyeing process takes 15 days

Care Instructions-
The colors are fixed using natural elements and might rub off. You can get it dry-cleaned before use to remove any surface dyes.
Cold wash separately with mild or no detergent. Do not scrub. Line dry in shade, inside out.
